Then that is such a shame

Not only does He hear each prayer you say;

But He knows you by your name.

It does not matter where you are

When you call upon the Lord.

He will listen with a well-tuned ear

And will understand each word.

Be quick to listen as He speaks,

As He tells you what to do.

For that will be your Guiding Light...

The rest is up to you.

Then thank Him for His kindness,

For He was standing by.

Not as you thought - not turned away

And would never miss your cry.

Although you've made so many mistakes.

He will not count your blame.

For now, you are forgiven.

And know, He knows your name.
