If I were King of the Office,
Not Queen, not Duke, not Prince.
My regal reign of the office,
Would be fairness, and teamwork, not fear.
I'd commend each one, be they staff or son,
With a “way-to-go”, and a firm “well-done!”
As I'd click my heel,
All the thanks I’d feel,
While the business grows,
And our profits show,
Competition would take wing,
''If.. I ...; 'If ... I ... ; were King.
Each worker’d show respect to me.
The staff all genuflect to me.
Though my tongue might lash,
I would show compash
For every underling,
'If.. I ...; 'If ... I ... ; were King.
(Just King).
